We like Mark Phelan. The Detroit Free Press Automotive Columnist isn’t just funny and smart, he’s forgotten more about the auto business than we’ll probably ever know. And he has impeccable taste. So you understand why we wanted to get him on camera at the North American Auto Show. We were stoked when he said yes to not one story, but three! Here’s the first one.
The Toyota A-BAT Concept – a little unibody pickup truck. If that’s not a formula for non-sales in the U.S. we’re not sure what is. But it’s a hybrid, and there’s those darned CAFE standards to address. Who knows, maybe this one will sell.
