    I just can’t get excited about the XSUV trend. I guess I’m becoming an old fart that still likes my sedans–especially the high performance end. I just hope that there will be some good offerings for the next 10 to 15 years! After that it probably won’t matter much for me.

      Hi Bob – We’ve been following this trend since 1990 when the Explorer was launched and folks swarmed to it. Then in 1996 the first XSUVs hit and were a hit. They provided the handling, maneuverability, performance, seating position, ingress/egress, cargo carrying utility and fuel economy that buyers had been asking for. Their buyers rate their fun to drive as equal as sports car owners. Their definition of fun to drive is simply different. I agree, when you really want to have a fun drive, you go for a CTS-V or something sweet like that.
