Lincoln Navigator Wins AutoPacific 2006 Vehicle Satisfaction Award for Luxury Sport Utility Vehicles – Also Top Ranked Truck and TOP RANKED VEHICLE Overall

The Lincoln Navigator is the top ranked vehicle for satisfaction in AutoPacific‘s 2006 vehicle satisfaction research. Not only did the Lincoln flagship beat its Luxury SUV competition, but it was ahead of all other trucks and cars as well. While Cadillac’s Escalade may be the new King of Bling, Navigator achieves its class leading status with an industry benchmark interior, full fold flat rear seating, tasteful styling and a great performing V8.

I have owned my navigator for 3 years. It continues to be a great car for road trips. It rides great, handles quite well for such a tall vehicle, brakes well and can absolutely swallow up almost anything I need carry. The power fold flat 3rd seats are great and comfortable and easy to access even for adults. The back seat air is great. Certainly I wish it got better gas mileage but it carries 7 people or 4 with tons of luggage and to have that capacity requires a bigger car and engine. Smaller would not do the job. The interior is very nicely appointed and feels much richer than the competition. I went to the Autoshow and seriously looked at the competitiors and for me, nothing compared. My only wish, a telescoping steering wheel and a redesign of the dumb lid for the front seat console – small problems.
