VIP Auto Fashion Show in Anaheim an upscale spin-off of Hot Import Nights had Cadillac, Mazda and Subaru as manufacturer participants. Major sponsor was XM Satellite Radio. DUB was also had a high profile at the show.

We were happy with our first Jeep, and a Minivan was totally out of the question. We were not going to take that step yet, or ever. My wife was about as anti-Minivan as one can get. It just wasn't going to happen.

SUVs as successful commuters comes back to the SUV intangibles we've known in the auto business for years now - sitting up high, visibility both for me as driver and for others seeing me. The SUV seems safe and secure compared with commuting in a very small car.

What's the next "new" concept for the Chrysler Group's successful rear-wheel-drive platform? Back to the history books. Dodge cannot resist the temptation to revive a muscle car entry, given the available rear-wheel-drive platform and current powertrains. Though Dodge may have gone this direction without the success of the latest Mustang, consumer's response to the latest Mustang is certainly cause for inspiration.
