BMW's 3-Series Convertible Powers Down - finally a power retractable hardtop from BMW

Today marks the final Saturday morning Crystal Cove mini concours in Newport Beach. Starting at 0700 each Saturday morning for years, Crystal Cove has become the spot for car owners and enthusiasts to gather over coffee and donuts on Saturdays. Unlike Donut Derelicts up Pacific Coast Highway that has a hot rod flavor, Crystal Cove had a exotic car flavor even though there were a few hot rods and classics thrown in.

Time to preview vehicles showcased at the 2007-Model Orange County Auto Show. There were some vehicles you’d want to take home, a few you’d keep covered in the garage and others you’d never let onto your driveway.

Last week General Motors hosted a two-day event in sunny Southern California showcasing quite a few of their 2007 makes and models. The event kicked off with a press conference at Saturn of Temecula with the first day’s events focusing on Saturn’s new lineup, followed by a ride and drive down to San Diego.
